ASF SECURES STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS IN MADAGASCAR

ASF priorities are (1) the upgrade (ICAO/ACM standards) of neglected secondary airports in disaster prone areas, (2) the capacity building of ACM, ADEMA, BNGRC & local air operators providing humanitarian flights, and (3) the integration of ASF oblique photography methodology into BNGRC Geographic Information System.
This endorsement lends legitimacy and credibility to ASF towards United Nations agencies, the European Union Delegation and representatives of institutional donors in Madagascar in order to lobby for the projects and get financial support within the framework of disaster preparedness and response budget lines.
