HUMANITARIAN LOGISTICS ASSOCIATION EDITS ASF REPORT

Published on

This report is in line with the need for humanitarian accountability, stronger inclusion of field level stakeholders & humanitarian efficiency in the humanitarian aviation sector that has been outlined during HLA workshops (AidEx & IDR 2018).

ASF is encouraging the deployment of UN Humanitarian Air Services (UNHAS), warning that this service will remain largely unused if it does not meet NGO specific needs for operational flexibility. ASF is ready to liaise between UNHAS and NGO to harmonize supply and demand of flights for the benefit of both parties.
